To begin our exploration of RightFax 10.6 features, we are going to look at updates to RightFax compatibility with existing infrastructure, namely with Microsoft applications. 10.6 updates include support for the newest Microsoft applications for improved compatibility, administration and management. RightFax 10.6 updates provide support for:
- Microsoft Exchange 2013
- Microsoft Exchange Web Services 2010 and 2013: Microsoft Exchange Web Services support is completely new to version 10.6. The support allows users to get full RightFax-Exchange functionality integration without having to install software on Exchange servers for easier installation and management.
- Microsoft SharePoint 2013: Support for SharePoint 2013 includes new RightFax SharePoint Apps for simplified deployment of basic inbound and outbound fax functionality within SharePoint environment
- Microsoft Office 2013: Support for Server Side Automation enables installment of Office 2013 on RightFax server for added install time-savings
- Microsoft Windows Server 2012: RightFax supports Microsoft Windows OS 2012, along with Microsoft 2008 and 2008 R2
Version 10.6 extends new levels of support to an organization’s existing infrastructure for improved installation, functionality and management and is available Q4 2013.
